Chanel Couture Fall 2010.

I have to say, this is probably my favourite Couture collection this year so far. Unlike his spring couture collection, Lagerfeld this time explored luxurious, thick, sensuous fabrics, dark. moody shades of blue, gold, camel and the deepest of reds. The beautiful embellishment, volume of fabric, tapestry and the slight military influence add another dimension to the clothes - not to mention the models wearing them, who included Abby Lee Kershaw and a Lagerfeld favourite, Freja Beha Erichsen
It's a complete stand out collection with a strong presence amongst the collections this week. J'adore.

A giant gold lion was present amongst the models on the catwalk, which Lagerfeld said was a tribute to Coco Chanel herself, whose sign was Leo.
