Enchanted Palace.

I went to Kensington Palace yesterday with a friend to see their 'Enchanted Palace' exhibition. It was so lovely, and a really good idea. The concept is that each room has been designed by a different designer, including Vivienne Westwood, Zandra Rhodes and Paul Costello, that represents the different princesses that lived their, from Queen Mary and Victoria, to Princess Margaret and Diana. It was so beautifully done, and each was so fairytale like. The exhibition itself was very interactive too, and their were some really helpful people there with great knowledge and interesting trivia on the royals that once lived in the palace. If you haven't been already, its definitely worth a visit!

A few Christmas treats.

I got spoilt with lots of pretty treats this year, and here are a few of them. The lovely, scalloped edge silk blouse is from Topshop, and I'm in love with it!
Did everyone have a nice Christmas? Mine consisted of sitting in front of the TV, with a box of chocolates, waiting for Christmas dinner...bliss!

Versace ad campaign...

Here are the pictures of Versace's new ad campaign starring the beautiful January Jones, best known for playing Betty Draper, in the fabulous Mad Men. Shot by Mario Testino, these photos don't really leave much to the imagination, with only a handbags covering Jones' modesty...but they're Versace photos after all...
Donatella said of  her new muse, "I am always on the lookout for the next Versace blonde, and in January I feel I have found a perfect Versace woman for the twenty-first century. She is chic and elegant but deeply sensual too - it is a 'dramatic' combination."

The British Fashion Awards 2010

Alexa Chung won the British Style Award last night at the BFA's and personally, I am glad she won. There were soo many strong contenders, and I know when I voted it took a while for me too choose, but Ms Chung has been highlighted as a style icon for a while now, and with a wardrobe like hers I am not surprised! She wore this beautiful blush Chanel dress, complete with cute sleeves and a peterpan collar (I'm a little obsessed with them...) Congratulations to Alexa, a worthy winner.

Other winners of the night included Pheobe Philo for Celine, again another truly worthy winner, Model Lara Stone, Christopher Bailey, Naomi Campbell, Mulberry and of course, Alexander McQueen who was awarded Outstanding achievement in fashion posthumously.

Black Swan

The costumes for the film, Black Swan starring Natalie Portman were designed by the Rodarte sisters, and sure enough, they're absolutely beautiful and suit this beautiful thriller perfectly.
