I recently discovered 'Pinterest' whilst reading the Lulu Letty's rather lovely blog, check it out here. If you are not familiar with this website, then it is basically online library of photographs that people 'pin' onto their pages for all to see. It also acts as a great mood-board, perfect if you're a design student of some kind!
I am a little obsessed with this song! I had never heard of American band 'The Pierces' before, until they appeared on TV a few weeks ago. I love their retro, seventies sound - their style is wonderful too!
Sarah Burton's latest collection for Alexander McQueen, once again proves she was the right woman for the job. Decorative coats were adorned with fur and zips, whilst dresses were intricately detailed with origami style folds in the skirts, ruffles, and tiers.
I would love it if this were true! I have no doubt that Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen would do a wonderful job on Kate Middleton's wedding dress. It would envision it to be detailed, romantic, with a modern edge. She has my vote.
I adore Stella McCartney, but even I have to admit that this collection wasn't one of her best - in my opinion anyway, referring mainly to her more masculine pieces. However, these pieces I did love. They were cute, feminine and playful. I particularly liked the scallop detail, velvet and peplum skirts.
