Chanel Resort 2010/11

The house of Chanel descended on St. Tropez yesterday to present there Resort collection. The show screamed seventies, with an array of flowing floral maxi dresses, burnt orange bell bottoms, denim skirts and floppy hats. Of course no Chanel collection would be complete without its signature tweed, which was incorporated in the jackets and dresses.
I thought the show was refreshing, light, young and a lot different to what we've seen Chanel do over the past few collections. Speaking of young, Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall's off spring, Georgia May Jagger, made an appearance on the catwalk looking like a young Brigitte Bardot.
Lagerfeld said after the show, "I never worry about running out of ideas,” he said. “If I was going to, it would have happened before now.” The has certainly proved he still has it.
