I saw it yesterday, I really enjoyed it. It was a lot darker than I was expecting, but the tragic love story that made up the story had me hooked. Rising stars, Andrea Riseborough and Sam Riley, shine in this film, portraying two completely different characters. Andrea, playing sweet, shy, love-sick Rose, and Riley, the dark, villainous Pinky.
As a lover of everything to do with the sixties, I was in awe of the visuals in the film, from the fashion, the mopeds, mods, rockers...everything!
I would definitely recommend it. I now plan on reading the book.
